Our Founders

Founded at the intersection of frustration and conviction.

The founders of Voice of Designers came from backgrounds spanning enterprise product design, behavioral research, financial technology, and applied psychology. What brought them together was a shared frustration: watching a design industry that had accumulated genuine knowledge about human behavior systematically apply it to the wrong ends.

They had each, independently, reached the same conclusion: that the most important design work happening was not in the studios doing award-winning visual work, but in the unglamorous space of enterprise SaaS products that millions of people use every day under conditions of low choice and high consequence.

Voice of Designers was not pitched to investors. It was not designed to scale to 200 people. It was founded to demonstrate that a small firm with deep methodology could produce better outcomes than large agencies with broad capability — and to build Pindue Vault as proof.

Our editorial community — thousands of designers, strategists, and researchers across 40+ countries — is the intelligence network that keeps our thinking sharp. They debate our research, challenge our frameworks, and contribute the diversity of context that no single consultancy can develop internally.

The VOD Journal is how we remain accountable to this community. We publish our thinking publicly because we believe design knowledge should be shared, challenged, and improved.
