About / Our Approach

The 7-Pillar
Methodology.

A proprietary framework for evaluating and designing ethical, effective digital products. Most design methodologies optimize for one thing: user experience. Ours optimizes for seven.

The Framework

Seven dimensions.
Every engagement.
No exceptions.

Every project we undertake is evaluated across all seven pillars from initiation to delivery. This is not a checklist. It is the lens through which every decision is made.

01

Psychology

How does this design interact with human cognition? Does it reduce cognitive load or increase it? Does it respect attention or extract it? Is it using behavioral principles to serve users or to exploit them?

02

Business Strategy

What business outcome is this design meant to produce? Is that outcome aligned with genuine user value? What are the second-order business consequences of this design decision?

03

Technology

What does the technical architecture enable or constrain in design? What are the privacy implications of the data architecture? What compliance obligations does the technology create?

04

Society & Culture

Who is affected by this product beyond its direct users? What assumptions is this design making about culture, language, access, and context? Who is it excluding?

05

Data

What data is being collected, stored, and used? Is collection proportionate to purpose? Who controls this data? What is the user's relationship to their own information?

06

Communication

Is this interface communicating honestly? Is information disclosed at the right moment, with appropriate context, in language the user can understand? Are consent interactions genuine?

07

Environment

What is the environmental cost of this digital product? What is its contribution to cognitive and emotional environment — is it adding signal or noise to users' lives?

How We Work

Our engagement model.

Phase 1

Diagnostic

We begin every engagement with a structured audit of the current product against our 7-Pillar framework. We conduct stakeholder interviews, user journey analysis, and competitive context research. This phase produces a written diagnostic — a rigorous assessment of where your product is and what it needs.

Phase 2

Strategy

We develop a prioritized design strategy based on diagnostic findings. For complex multi-stakeholder environments, this includes an alignment workshop where we build consensus across product, engineering, legal, and executive teams.

Phase 3

Design

We design interventions — interaction patterns, component systems, information architectures, consent flows — tested against our 7-Pillar framework before they're handed to engineering.

Phase 4

Validation

We validate design decisions against user behavior and business outcomes. We don't leave when the designs are complete. We leave when the outcomes are confirmed.
