Workplace Experience

WorkplaceProduct & Spatial Design

Problem

A growing hybrid workforce was stuck between open-plan noise and isolated home setups. The client’s space and furniture had evolved piecemeal — no coherent story for how people should work in the office now.

Research

We studied how teams actually used rooms: focus blocks, video calls, quick collaborations. Environmental factors — light, acoustics, posture — were logged alongside digital tool use.

Strategy

We treated furniture, layout, and signage as one experience system. The goal was not more seats; it was predictable modes of work people could choose without friction.

Design

We specified zones, furniture families, and wayfinding that matched those modes. Materials and forms were chosen for longevity and repair, not trend cycles.

Implementation

Pilot floors launched before a full rollout. Facilities and HR were involved early so policy matched the spatial intent — especially for hybrid booking and quiet hours.

Outcome

Employees described the office as easier to navigate and easier to protect focus in. The client had a repeatable playbook for future sites instead of one-off renovations.
